Surprisingly GoodBy Jonathan, Apr 25, 2014I've had my Rio SX HB for just under a year now and I have to say it's a car that I honestly enjoy driving daily. The sport suspension is tight for the city but you do get used to it. With the SX package the leather seats help to soak up the bumps quite well. It's loaded with features you used to be able to find only on luxury vehicles such as power folding mirrors, heated seats, full navigation and a sunroof. It is good on gas in the city but the highway is where it shines with great gas mileage and a comfortable cabin. With the back seats folded down the cargo space is more than adequate for a car of this size and the fit and finish are truly well done. The auto climate control and auto HID headlamps are a nice touch as is the heated steering wheel on cold days. I couldn't be happier for what I spent and hope to be able to enjoy it for many years. Way to go KIA - glad you turned the corner and gave us what we asked for in a sub compact. ...morePleasure to drive. Lots of upscale features. Economical to drive. Fun to drive as well.
Would have been better with a turbo.Trim 2013 Kia Rio 5dr HB Auto SX

13' Kia RioBy Lindsay, Mar 28, 2014Not too bad for the price. I don't like the , or the lack of a full center console, or really any of the interior design features. The ride is really bad, you feel every bump in the road and it's loud inside. Gets about 23mpg city for me, cheap to fill up. Handles ok, great acceleration (when ECO mode off) ...moreopen design, good acceleration, cheap to fill up

Small and NimbleBy John Tate, Oct 20, 2013I'll be the first to admit that I never thought I'd be shopping for a Kia. But over the last couple of years, their design and styling has really improved and after looking at the Hyundai Accent and the Honda Fit, I decided I might as well take a look at the Rio. Pretty glad I did, as the styling was impressive in person, less plain Jane like the Fit was. Was thoroughly surprised by the interior quality and how smoothly it drove. It might not have as much interior space as the Accent or Fit, but for the price I can't really complain too much. ...moreInterior quality, good looks, drives smoothly
