Cruzing AlongBy Cruzemeister, Aug 21, 2013After shopping the competition we decided to try the Chevy Cruze. We test drove a bunch of small cars. The Toyota Corolla felt way too old. The Honda Civic felt cheap inside and looks weird. Hyundai's Elantra was nice but I couldn't get comfortable inside. Ultimately the Cruze won us over with its blend of comfort, quality feel and good price. The car feels super solid on the road, almost like a luxury car... way tighter than my old beater Taurus I'd been driving. The dealer was willing to negotiate the price. I like the interior, it's very solid and the engine/transmission performance is nothing to sneeze at. We bought a 2LT with the 1.4 turbo engine... lots of low end torque. Fuel economy has been very good, too. All in all the Chevy Cruze is a great little car. We'll see how good it holds up. ...moreSuper solid feeling, good performance, comfortable interior
