great carBy kim curci, Sep 7, 2014I was skeptical about this car when first hearing about it. I had had a Nissan 350Z I just loved but thought I needed a truck. Quickly learning I spent my time in gas stations fueling up. The gas pump was eating up all my hard earned money. I thought about trying to be more wise wjth my hard earned money and getting rid of this beautiful brand new truck before it ended up that I'm living in it. So now the big question is what to buy after owning a truck you needed to haul stuff I-n. Well I did some research and it pointed me in direction of the 2014 volt made by Chevy. It would be my very first Chevy automobile ever. I was missing my 350Z at the same time and when I drove the Volt I must admit I was surprised at the pick up this car had. It's a very quiet car. You can sneak up on people driving this car. My first month I spent just 33.00 at the pump. After 6 months of owning the Volt my highest month yet was the month I drove to Oregon from California. STILL THOUGH IT ONLY cost me 128/68 ...moreeverything about this car i love

The Best Volt Yet!!By Jon Shevelew, Feb 8, 2014This is my second Volt. I put 23,000 trouble free miles on my 2012 in 10 months. Never even hit an oil change. The 2014 adds some great features including a much more comprehensive MyLink system. The HOLD feature actually helps to improve an already impressive MPG capability. This allows the driver to use the internal combustion engine (ICE) when it is most efficient and to rely on the battery when it makes the most sense (50 mph and below). This has resulted in a 35% improvement in efficiency over my 2012. Averaging over 90 MPG with a 140 mile per day commute makes this car a no brainer. Handling is excellent with the battery providing a 450lb weight dead center of the car which makes this car extremely nimble for cornering. ...moreEconomy, performance, handling, comfort.
