Almost 2 Years and 30,000 Miles and I Still Love ItBy Andrew, Nov 14, 2014I had wanted the Dart since I first saw it and got the first one that the dealer had. It is a 1.4T with a manual trans and every option available on the SXT except the engine block heater. I have had one issue with the grill shutters and that has been it. In my mixed city/hwy driving, I am averaging about 33 miles per gallon without even trying. It handles great, looks fantastic, and sounds awesome. It is also smooth, quiet and so easy to drive. I cannot think of another car that I looked at that had as much room, fuel economy and handling as the Dart (and in my opinion, none were better looking) ...moreFuel economy, looks, room, low NVH

I don't know why I wanted one so badly.By Howard Munroe, Apr 4, 2014Since I first caught wind of the Dart name being introduced a couple of months before it's showing at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, I knew I wanted this car. The desktop I've had on my desktop is of the pre-production R/T, and was not introduced in the first model year. My wife took priority that year, and I had to get her out of a Kia Rio, and my heart sank. With the offerings of the first year though, I'm afraid that if I had followed my heart, I would have been sorely disappointed. I finally was able to purchase my Dart two weekends ago and even though I really loved the GT, It was well out of my payment range. Disheartened, I spotted a red SXT. My particular model has most of the options of the GT, minus the heated leather seats and proximity sensors, but has the same power train. Coupled up with the six speed automatic, I am getting about the same mileage as my beat up Mitsubishi Mirage that it replaced, but also has enough power to press one into the seat when necessary. It handles extremely well, and it has a solid feel that would befit a much larger vehicle. Waiting one year for my purchase made the difference, for me at least, of utter disappointment to exceeding my expectations. ...moreGood power, Good handling, Same cab forward design as introduced with the Neon, giving great legroom in back.
With the sixteen inch wheels and low profile tires, even though that would be my choice, the road noise is a little louder, but not overly so.Trim 2014 Dodge Dart 4dr Sdn SXT

Get the GTBy Franklin, Jun 11, 2014I don't know why, but I bought the Limited Dart before the GT was available. I like everything about the Dart's design, but should have waited for the extra power. The size of this car is bigger than my old Cirrus but it is way better on gas. My kids fit in the backseat no problem and I have made many trips home from Loews with crap crammed in the trunk. Such a stylish compact car, just get the right one. ...moreGood on gas, rear seat has a lot of space, looks awesome
