Front AxlesBy Bob L, Mar 15, 2014I've had two. Both had to have new front axles after a few years. They are just not strong enough to handle the torque/power, even though it is not that much. Too bad the new ones don't have sunroofs, I still like them but they're not available as an option. ...moregreat looking.

love this car!By Doug M., Feb 23, 2014I just traded in my 2007 mx-5gt for a new mazda 6gt, and I really like this car. The mx-5 was my 3rd mazda and I never had any problems with any of them, even though I was pretty hard on the first two. I am getting older and the mx-5 is not the most comfortable car for older drivers. The mazda 6 rides very well and has lots of safety and creature comforts as well as great mileage, much better than the mx-5 and better than my Hyundai Accent. The only downside is road noise, although the Bose sound system takes care of that. I was waiting for the diesel, but that engine has been delayed and mazda offered me a very good trade value and a 1,000. loyalty bonus. Best Buy in a 4 door sports sedan on the marketBy GL, Feb 23, 2014I just turned back an Infiniti G37x after the lease expired and leased a 2014 Mazda6 as it's replacement. I looked at the Honda Accord VG, VW Jetta GLI and Volvo S60 T5 before selecting the Mazda6. I refused to consider the Nissan Altima and the Honda Accord Sport (4cyl) due to the CVT Transmission. With a sticker price of nearly $10K less, the Mazda is a very competitive car. Yes it doesn't have 328hp or all wheel drive. However, the car handles as well as the G and seems to be more toss-able and nimble on the road. I am getting 30mpg with the engine barely broken in. This is with regular gas, unlike the G's premium requirement that I averaged 23mpg with. It will be interesting to see how the car performs in the snow. I don't have any expectation that it will be as good as the G, without the AWD. The Mazda also has all of the amenities that the G had plus, LED Daytime running lights, rain sensing windshield wipers (an option on the G), paddle shifters (another option on the G). The more I drive the car, the more I like it and the less I miss my Infiniti which I really enjoyed in the three years that I had it. ...moreValue, Handling, 6 speed automatic transmission

Great car, great value.By Jeff, Dec 19, 2013I had been in the market for a new car for years. I bought my base model 2005 Hyundai Elantra in 2007 when I was making after my Mazda MX-6 died at 160,000 miles. I had to buy a car quickly and regretted the purchase nearly every day since. I know that Hyundai has changed its ways and the Elantra is no longer the same pile of crap that I drove, but still Hyundai was not on my short list of cars to buy. I loved my MX-6 and Mazda is where I started my search. We were looking for a car for my wife first, and decided to try out a CX-5. She wasn't in love with it, but I really liked the styling. I test drove the 6 Touring to start with and really, really liked it straight off. It was quick and it was fun. It had cool features like the commander switch and blind spot warnings. HD Radio/Pandora. I liked it a lot. I took home the brochure on the 6 and started falling in love with it. I no longer was satisfied with the Touring. I wanted the leather seats, the advanced keyless ignition, the navigation system, satellite radio, 19" chrome wheels, and above all I wanted the Mazda Radar Cruise Control. I went for it and got a 6 Grand Touring, fully loaded. I freaking love this car. It's nimble, fuel efficient, responsive. I get comments on it all the time. It's a unique, sharp looking car. The almond leather interior is gorgeous. There are at least two ways to do everything in the car. 2 ways to shift manually (stick or paddle), enter nav instructions, make phone calls, change the radio station. Oh, and the sound system. 11 speaker Bose with subs in each driver's door. It's amazing. The bad side? There have been a few minor issues. The sound system is AWESOME, but i'm currently dealing with a speaker rattling. My nav system died and I had to take it to the dealership to be reset. The navigation system voice recognition is awful. But that's about it. It's a great car. I love it a lot. Give Mazda a shot if you're in the market. ...moreride, engine, interior styling, exterior styling, fuel economy, sweet-ass sound system

NEW MAZDA6 - MORE THAN YOU EXPECTBy Richard Hylton, Feb 23, 2014Starting with a clean sheet design helps since the car balances price, quality, style and fuel mileage as well as most any other vehicle one can consider in its market segment. The Fusion is very close and any decision between the two is probably more subjective than factual. The exterior sheet metal does appear to be metal in motion while the interior is understated with high quality material. ...moreHigh MPG around 36-37 on the road, a pleasure to drive, available technology including adaptive cruise

Damn good looking car!By Robert Kushing, Jan 22, 2014The timing was perfect for the new Mazda6 to be introduced, since my Miata sports car was becoming a tad too small with a baby on the way. Call it love at first sight, but the second I saw the new Mazda6 I knew it had to be mine. It's just such a good looking car and hardly drives like a boring sedan would. I applaud Mazda for finding a way to add some sport to a sedan making it enjoyable and functional at the same time. ...moreFun to drive, great looking car, interior is on point
