2012 audi a6 teased ahead of possible la auto show debut
Audi recently released details (and photos) of its production plans at its Neckarsulm facility, including news that the new 2012 A6 would be built there. No actual photos of the next-generation A6 were included, however, a teaser of a draped A6 was released sitting alongside the other vehicles being built at the same location, including the A8, A7 and R8 Spyder.

The company isn’t surprising as the next A6 is touted to share a platform with the A7 and A8, much like how BMW’s new 5 Series shares its underpinnings with the 7 Series.

There’s not much that can be gleaned from the teaser, but knowing Audi’s recent design philosophy it’s certain to look a lot like the A8 from the front and get a hint of A5 from the rear.

Audi is rumored to be planning an LA Auto Show reveal for its important new and we’ll be on hand with full coverage.
