BMW M5 Concept to Debut at Shanghai Motor Show

Alongside the new 6 Series Coupe and a special long wheelbase 5 Series plug-in hybrid, BMW will debut a concept version of the new M5 at the Shanghai Motor Show next month.
Teased incessantly by the German automaker the car will get a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 making no less than 555-hp and mated to a dual-clutch transmission. It is also rumored to use a type of KERS hybrid system.
Officially set to debut in production form at the Frankfurt Auto Show this fall, the concept should give a close look at what to expect.
Other vehicles expected to be revealed in Shanghai include the Audi Q3 crossover and the new Volkswagen Beetle, with a simultaneous unveiling at the NY Auto Show.
