Volkswagen Black Turbo Launch Edition Beetle Offered Through Online Pre-Order Program

Volkswagen has announced its first ever online vehicle reservation system and the first car available is the aptly named 2012 Black Turbo Launch Edition Beetle.
This Beetle will use VW’s impressive 2.0-liter TSI 4-cylinder engine, producing 200-hp and 207 lb-ft of torque mated to a dual-clutch six speed transmission. The bug will also feature Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, plus add-ons like larger brakes with red calipers, 18-inch wheels, a rear spoiler and a very special second glove box which VW calls a “kaeferfach”.
Ordering the Beetle seems easy enough as long as you have an internet connection and a refundable $495 deposit. VW will only release 600 black Beetle turbos so log on quickly here.
