Top 10 Cars For Cheating Men

Now that you know Toyota is the top brand for cheating men, what other automakers are on the list?

According to the 2,520 men that were surveyed at AshleyMadison, a website dedicated to affair-seeking men and women, Mercedes-Benz came in 10th place with 2.9 percent. Even though it’s in the top 10 list, the small percentage of affair-seeking men driving Benzes clearly proves one thing: if you’ve got a Mercedes, chances are you’ve got the trophy wife that keeps you happy with it.

Those hard working men in their hard working GMC s seem to be looking for a little something on the side. 3.2 percent of those polled on said they drive the “professional grade” brand. Well, at least they have plenty of room in their vehicles for a late-night soiree without paying for a hotel room.

American automaker Jeep comes in at eighth place on the list with 4.8 percent and in a way it makes sense. Owning a Jeep is all about embracing an adventurous lifestyle and what could possibly be more of an adventure than seeking an affair? Committing adultery out in the wilderness, away from civilization in comfort, of course.

Tied with Jeep at 4.8 percent, our first Japanese automaker on the list is Nissan. With such a broad range of models, it’s hard to poke fun at the fact that the majority of cheating men are probably driving plain, unsuspecting vehicles. At least Nissan is working on making its vehicles more exciting to drive, hopefully curbing the urge to cheat on your spouse.

When we see Dodge on the list, the first thing that pops up in our heads is all the men forced to give up a sports car to shuttle their family around in a Caravan. Whether or not that 5.8 percent of affair-seeking men who own Dodges are really driving Caravans around isn’t really the issue. It’s the “Stow’n Go” seating that probably attracts philanderers.

Oh those sneaky BMW owners trying to use their cars to pick up unsuspecting women. The German luxury automaker comes in at fifth place of car makes for cheating men with 6.4 percent. Despite having such a broad range of models, we’re willing to generalize that men willing to cheat are just happy that the Bavarian emblem resides on their hoods, whether it’s a 3-Series or a 7-Series.

At least Honda is in the top five of some list this year. The Japanese automaker has fallen on rough times recently, and maybe so have the marriages of its owners. 7.1 percent of affair-seeking men surveyed claim they drive a Honda, and if it’s a newer model we almost can’t blame them. They’re quite the boring vehicles now.

Ah the innuendos that could be tossed around with Chevy‘s ‘Like a Rock’ motto. Even though the list doesn’t go into specific models, we can’t help but imagine that the majority of cheating men are driving their Corvettes around with a mistress in tow. Who can blame them for wanting to feel young and free again? Oh right, their wives.

Ford comes in at second place with 12.3 percent, 2.1 percent higher than Chevy. Chances are those affair-seeking men aren’t driving Mustangs, but rather Explorers and Expeditions. Listen up fellas, if you’re on the prowl for a stallion, grab yourself a Mustang, not a cougar.

As was mentioned before, Toyota tops the list of automakers cheating men prefer. The irony in this is that Toyota’s vehicles are the epitome of stability and reliability. The overwhelming 20.9 percent proves that this can’t just be attributed to the popularity of Toyota vehicles; but we’re hoping all those men saving gas money by driving around a Prius or Camry Hybrid don’t blow it all on their mistresses.
