MINI Parallell Parking Record – Behind the Scenes
If you couldn’t have guessed, setting the world record for parallell parking is no picnic — even for a professional like Han Yue.
Earlier this month we brought you footage of him doing just that by taking a 180 degree skid to slide a MINI Cooper perfectly between two of its siblings. Filmed to promote the Beijing launch of the special edition Chinese Job MINI, we see what looks like an effortless slide into the record, but the video you’ll see below shows how hard meting that goal actually was.
By the end, Yue managed to park with only 5.9 inches to spare, solidifying the record.
