Volvo Teases S60 Polestar High Performance Edition
Volvo has unleashed the first partial picture of the S60 Polestar performance edition today, not quite a full reveal, but enough to see the front-end of the car.
Volvo released the photo with this statement: “Introducing the Volvo S60 Polestar. Debuting June 16th at the Gothenburg City Race. Stay tuned for more.” We have seen a covered up prototype of the car, which gives a better idea of the Polestar S60’s wider haunches and bigger wheels than this teaser.
Power has been rumored to come from an enhanced version of the cars existing 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six, but talk of a big V8 has also been floating around. With cars like the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG in its sights, the S60 Polestar will have to pack some punch to compete, making the V8 more likely.
