General Motors has issued a recall for roughly 2,070 Chevrolet Captiva Sports because the parking brake cable may become disconnected causing it to not work.

The brake cable was not fully seated into one of its connectors, and because of this can let go. If the vehicle is parked on a hill when this occurs, unwanted movement can occur.

GM will notify owners of the vehicle, and the recall will begin around July, 18. The recall affects only model year 2012 vehicles.

The Captiva Sport is sold strictly as a fleet vehicle in America, so only companies will be affected by this recall.
