The 2013 Audi A series is getting quite a host of updates for 2013, the largest one being the new 3.0-liter supercharged V6 now being offered in the Audi A8.

Two new engines are being offered on the Audi A8 for 2013: a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that makes 333 hp, and the 4.0T that produces 420 horsepower. Replacing the old 4.2-liter V8 base engine, the new V6 offers customers an even more affordable base price to get into the car. Starting at $72,200 when equipped with the 3.0-liter engine, the A8 lineup expands all the way up to the top of the line A8 long wheelbase model fitted with a W12 engine, which fetches $134,500.

The A4 and A5 are getting some slight enhancements for 2013, including a modified grille, new front and rear bumpers, and new hood design. LED daytime running lights round out the new appearance of the cars. Inside, alu-optic MMI controls and optimized audio controls are all new, as well as chrome accents throughout. Audi’s infotainment system, Audi Connect, will also be available on both A4 and A5. The A4 ranges in price from $32,500 to $44,350, while the A5 starts at $37,850 and goes up to $48,500.

The Audi A6 gets the brand’s small 2.0T four-cylinder as an option for 2013, mated to an eight-speed transmission. The base A6 comes in at $42,200, while the top of the line variant costs $56,950.

A7 models are getting new interior features for 2013, the largest change being the capability to seat five with the addition of a full rear bench seat. New safety features are also now available on the car, including active lane assist, and corner view. Stop/start technology has also been added to the A7 to improve fuel economy.
