Overwhelming disapproval from the world’s automotive media has had little effect on Bentley’s decision to push ahead with its EXP 9 F SUV concept, with the automaker releasing a fresh batch of photos from the car’s UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Criticized for its styling (perhaps because most expected the look of the Continental GT, not the Mulsanne), Bentley says in a release that it is reaffirming its commitment to the ultra-luxury SUV which is says will be both the fastest and the most luxurious SUV in the world. When it hits production the EXP 9 F will be an, “innovative fusion of contemporary, crafted luxury, advanced technology, commanding driving position and all-terrain capability.”

Displayed at Goodwood, Bentley is continuing to gauge reaction to the machine, which while highly criticized by the media has reportedly been the complete opposite from potential buyers.
