Photos of the Porsche 918 Spyder have been hitting the media like a boxer on a speed pad recently, and thanks to the latest spy photos, the German Ferrari killer’s interior is now partially visible.

The pictures show what looks a lot like the center stack from the 911, but with a massive LCD panel likely to be a touch screen. A small shift knob, aluminum paddle shifters and some dials around the screen are also visible. The seats have “918 Spyder” stitched into the headrests and from looking at the spaces without camouflage , its easy to see that the cabin will have loads of carbon fiber. Finally, and possibly most exciting, it looks like the tachometer has a 9,000-rpm redline.

In the photos you see here, Porsche dressed its test mule in “Martini Hippie” livery compared to the Martini paint in previous pictures. Aside from aesthetics, the 918 Spyder is shaping up to be a real speed demon. Early reports suggested it was capable of 770 hp, but this weekend CEO of Porsche Canada Joe Lawrence revealed that it was making more than 800 hp during recent testing.
