It might be weird to think that mundane brochures could be dynamic and exciting, but Subaru is aiming for exactly that with its new ‘Dynamic Digital Brochures’ for its 2013 Legacy and Outback models.

The sporty BRZ would probably have been a better fit for these new-age brochures, but nonetheless the Japanese automaker is taking advantage of today’s technology to market its vehicles. Inside the virtual pages of the brochures, users will be able to learn more about the trademark Boxer engine, watch a demonstration of the improved fuel efficiency as a result of the Lineartronic CVT, and watch videos of the new EyeSight driver-assist technology in action.

Each brochure also highlights all of the standard Subaru features for the Outlook and Legacy models, including vibrant 360-degree views of the new exterior and interior. Users will also be able to pick from different color choices and interior trims as they would on an online configurator.

The digital brochures are currently available for download (Legacy here, Outback here) with iPad apps coming soon.
