Topping the list of most researched new cars for the week are two all-new mid-size sedans, the Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion.

In fact the new Fusion isn’t even on the market yet, but is already attracting plenty of interest from car shoppiners with its Aston Martin good looks. Rounding out the top five are three compact crossovers: the 2013 Ford Escape, the Chevrolet Equinox and the Kia Sportage.
