Now that Lincoln has announced that its 2013 MKZ Hybrid will be available at no additional cost, the American automaker is proud to say that the car will also boast the highest fuel economy of any luxury vehicle in the US market.

The 2013 MKZ Hybrid has an EPA-rated 45 mpg in the city and on the highway, without costing a penny more compared to its gasoline-powered counterpart. That makes the MKZ Hybrid more fuel efficient than the Lexus ES300h by 5-mpg city, 6-mpg highway; and trumps the Infiniti M35h by 18-mpg city, 13-mpg highway.

The 2013 MKZ Hybrid is priced from $35,925.
