Lotus just announced a price increase for its 2013 Evora and Evora S models, with the Evora starting at $66,800 and the Evora S priced from $77,100.

The change in pricing for the new model year reflects a 1 percent increase for the Evora model and a 1.3 percent increase on the Evora S model compared to the 2012 predecessor.

For 2013, the British automaker has added the option of its Intelligent Precision Shift (IPS) transmission to the supercharged Evora S. The IPS is a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters that will be available as a $2,850 option.

The 2013 Lotus Evora is rated at 276 hp while the supercharged Evora S sports 345 hp. The addition of the IPS transmission also allows the driver to choose between four different driving modes: fully automatic mode, automatic with “sport,” manual paddle-shift mode and full manual paddle-shift “Sport” mode.
