Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track Edition Stroked to 4.2-Liters: 2012 SEMA Show
Already a fully capable machine, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec has been revealed in “Track Edition” trim today at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Build by ARK Performance this next-level Gen Coupe is heavily adorned in carbon fiber, from the large front splitter and rear spoiler to the carbon fiber hood. Inside is a full roll cage, Sparco racing seats and a stunning Alcantara dash.
Under-hood modifications come thanks to a Brian Crower stroker kit, bringing the V6 engine’s displacement from 3.8-liters to 4.2-liters. Power jumps as well, to 395-hp and 340 lb-ft of torque.
With an engine as large as some V8s, it raises the question once again: when will Hyundai offer an eight-cylinder Genesis Coupe?
