Maserati has issued a recall on roughly 485 units that affects Quattroporte and GranTurismo models, citing issues with the tire pressure monitoring system.

A software error in the system keeps the tire pressure monitoring device from functioning properly. Without it, drivers will not be alerted of tire pressure issues, which increases the risk of a crash.

The recall affects model year 2012 vehicles only, and is expected to begin in November. For more information, contact Maserati at 1-201-816-2600.
