Tweaked from its original version, the Nissan Juke NISMO is more of an appearance package than a serious performance variant.

Despite that, the car offers some interesting variations on the fun-to-drive small crossover. NISMO did tinker with the engine a bit to offer about 10 hp more than the normal model for 197 and 184 lb-ft of torque, but the real changes are mostly skin deep.

With a revised interior wrapped in lots of black suede and red stitching as well as NISMO badges and special sport seats characterize the interior. Red mirror caps and accent lines of the same color run along the side skirts. A revised front fascia including a more aggressive front spoiler help set the car apart further while a split rear spoiler increases downforce, though the idea of going fast enough to enjoy any benefits is hard to imagine.

Regardless, the car will be available first in Europe early next year before heading to Japan and then the U.S.
