Dodge Dart, Durango Go Matte for LA Auto Show Lights

Showing off its Dart and Durango models at the 2012 LA Auto Show, Dodge decided to spice things up a bit giving both the vehicles a matte gray paint treatment.

Hoping to garner more attention from the automotive enthusiasts looking for something more aggressive, both vehicles are now available with the Rallye Appearance Package which offers R/T appearance and luxurious interior upgrades.

The Durango, powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine delivers 295 hp with the Rallye package (290 hp stock) and boasts a best-in-class driving range of more than 550 miles on one tank of fuel. The Durango is also available with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine packing 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.

As for the Dodge Dart Rallye, it’s powered by a 2.0-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine with 160 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed PowerTech automatic. The Dart Rallye can also be had with a 1.4-liter, MultiAir turbocharged engine with 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque as an option.
