Former Porsche CEO, Wendelin Wiedeking, has founded an Italian restaurant chain which will have outlets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with its first restaurant opening next month in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

Wiedeking, who was ousted from Porsche back in 2009, has been quite busy since being forced to leave the German automaker. He has invested into several businesses, including shoes and real estate, and already owns another food business – an eatery in his Westphalian hometown of Beckum.

The Italian restaurant chain will be called Vialino and it’s clear that Wiedeking has no intentions of returning back to the automotive world after a rough end with Porsche.
