Jaguar F-Type Makes Flashy North American Debut: 2012 LA Auto Show

The Jaguar F-Type made a magnificent debut at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year, but the British automaker just topped its worldwide unveiling at the 2012 LA Auto Show.

The Jaguar F-Type S garnered plenty of attention in a city that’s built with celebrities and superstars. The customized F-Type features the “Design” and “Black” exterior packs, making the F-Type even more sporty and flashy thanks to its “Firesand” paint shade.

The aesthetics got eve more aggressive with the packages thanks to a new front splitter, side skirts, and rear bumper. Contrasting the bright orange shade are aero splitters, rear valence, center grille, grille surround, and side vent surround all finished in gloss black.

On the inside, the “Black” package outfits the flat-bottomed steering wheel with a black trim finisher while the vent surrounds, door switch surrounds, and instrument cluster dial rings are done in a gloss black finish.
