Kid Rock to Drive Ford Fusion Titanium Pace Car

The 2013 Ford Fusion NASCAR pace car, which will be given away to a lucky fan, will be driven by Kid Rock at the Ford EcoBoost 400, taking place at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The American rock star will perform a live set before the Ford EcoBoost 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup championship race on November 18th, before hopping behind the wheel of the pace car. The pace car has already undergone testing with current points leader Greg Biffle at the wheel and will feature a special paint scheme.

Making the Fusion even more special, it has been signed by every Ford Racing driver and is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 240 hp. Fans will be able to check it out in person at six upcoming race weekends at Bristol Motor Speedway, Richmond International Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway, Kansas Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
