New BMW I Concept, I8 Roadster Heading to 2012 LA Auto Show

An all-new BMW i Concept vehicle will be making its world debut at the 2012 LA Auto Show along with the North American debut of the BMW i8 Concept Roadster.

No details have been released on the new i model, though it’s believed to be called the i4 and essentially be a more powerful, two-door version of the i3.

Alongside the i models, the German automaker will debut the Concept K2 Powder Ride, based on the X1 crossover, for cold weather enthusiasts.

As for the Concept K2 Powder Ride, BMW outfitted its X1 with roof rails, door sill strips, a snowboard bag, all-weather floor mats, roof-mounted Harmon Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, and 18-inch wheels.

Other vehicles in the booth include the newly updated 2013 BMW 7-Series featuring a revised exterior and extra fuel-saving technology.
