2013 chevrolet cruze adds new airbag technology

New technology will be at work when driver’s side airbags deploy in the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze.

The system uses a flexible venting technology to deploy the airbag efficiently while offering equal protection to more complex and expensive units. General Motors also says it reduces the risk of inflation-induced injury by allowing the driver’s forward momentum to push the air out and away.
