2013 Porsche GT3 Cup Car Live Photos From Germany

At Porsche’s ‘Night of Champions’ event in Weissach, Germany this weekend, the automaker unveiled its newest generation of GT3 Cup race cars.
Of course, short of hopping onto a flight and being invited to the prestigious event, chances of seeing the live unveiling are slim. But if there was ever a vehicle that needs more photos, the 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup would be it.

Not only does the GT3 Cup give us a sneak preview of what the production GT3 model will look like, its 3.8-liter, flat-six has now been tuned to 460 hp which is 10-hp more than the outgoing race car. Teams won’t be able to get their hands on one until the 2014 season, but next year we’ll be able to see it compete in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup next season.
