Detailed Look at the 2014 Corvette Stingray’s Aerodynamics – Videos
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has a bold new design that certainly lives up to its nameplate, but underneath all its gorgeous good looks is plenty of R&D that makes it extremely aerodynamic.
At first glance, the new Corvette Stingray is simply stunning, though some may think the American automaker went a little overkill with all the vents. But they’re not all there for aesthetic reasons only says Chevy, releasing a detailed look on the Stingray’s exterior design and how it all serves a purpose.

Essentially, the Corvette Stingray is more than just a pretty body with an efficient, high-powered engine. It features “distinct aeronautical lines” and “intricate ventilation systems” according to the GM, while Tadge Juecther, Executive Chief Engineer for the Corvette probably put it best: “If you look at the aerodynamics of this car, we took exact racing techniques and applied them straight to the street car.”
