When Mercedes-Benz unveils the next-generation of its GLK SUV, a three-door coupe variant will come along with it.

Internally known as the GLC, the coupe GLK should be making headlines in a few years – sometime in 2016. To further separate it from the rest of its SUV lineup, the German luxury automaker plans on giving the second-generation GLK a sleeker and stylish body and will be one of the first models built on the new, rear-wheel drive MRA platform from Mercedes.
