This week on Autoguide, the Toyota RAV4 review attracted the most attention, taking the top spot as most read review this week.
Gone is the optional 3.5L V6 in the RAV4, leaving only one engine option, a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder making 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is rated at 24/31 mpg for FWD models and 22/29 mpg for AWD.
Second on the list is the Chevy Trax, a small crossover which is available in Mexico, Canada and other worldwide markets, but not in the U.S. The Trax shares its platform and powertrain with the Buick Encore which is offered in the U.S. Under the hood of both vehicles is a 1.4-liter turbocharged four cylinder that makes 138-hp and 148 lbs-ft.
Third up is a review of the 2013 Honda Civic. Undergoing a refresh just one year into its product cycle, the Civic powertrain remains unchanged with a 140 hp 1.8L and a best of 28 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.
The Nissan GT-R, otherwise known as Godzilla, graces the list in the fourth place spot. Power from the twin-turbo 3.8L V6 has been increased for 2013 to 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque, though the ride in this car is still rather stiff.
Last up on the list is the Volkswagen Golf R. Though it is a tad expensive, the Golf R delivers performance with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 256 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque.
