Most Researched Cars of the Week: January 13 – 19

Utility vehicles were the most researched on’s new cars section this week.

That’s hardly a surprise given the season, but here are the most queried cars. Taking first place, the Hyundai Tucson is a compact crossover and a practical solution to affordable all-wheel drive transportation. With similar pricing and also powered by a four-cylinder engine, the 2013 Jeep Patriot took second place.

More than doubling the starting MSRP of both the Jeep and Hyundai products, the Lincoln MKZ was the next on the list.

Following on the pricier trend, the BMW X5 round off the vehicles this week that come with all-wheel drive.

Finally, the globally-marketed Chevrolet Cruze economy compact capped things off. Current models source power from gasoline engines, but the brand is expected to bring a diesel variant to North America in the near future.
