Leaked patent filings from Nissan appear to reveal the production version of the Hi-Cross concept, which could be a preview at the next-generation Rogue or X-Trail, the latter of which isn’t sold in America.

The Hi-Cross concept originally debuted at last year’s Geneva Motor Show, but also made an appearance at the more recent Los Angeles Auto Show. The purpose of the concept was to preview the Japanese automaker’s SUV future, and these patent filings prove that the automaker is closer to a production model.
