The 2013 Range Rover went on sale in December, 2012 and now most Land Rover dealerships in the country are sold out of the new SUV until summer.
At the National Automobile Dealers Association Convention, Land Rover dealers were told that the British automaker is trying to get as many Range Rovers to America as possible, but demand is tight worldwide. According to Chris Marchand, executive vice president of operations at Jaguar Land Rover North America, “the vehicle is sold out for six months to a year.”
Because of the limited supply for the 2013 Range Rover, the automaker has decided to not bring the base model to the U.S. Instead, Americans’ entry level model will be the HSE which starts at $88,545 including destination fee. The HSE comes with a panoramic roof, 20-inch wheels and tires, and a premium stereo system.
