The 2014 Chevrolet SS NASCAR race car will see its race debut this weekend at the Daytona 500, and the American automaker has released a pair of advertisements to celebrate its newest model.

The first ad is similar to the teaser ad we saw of the SS a long while back, before the vehicle made its debut on the Internet. It shows off an SS race car lapping Daytona, tearing off its camouflage to reveal its race livery. From there, the race car is then peeled back to reveal the street, production version of the SS.

The second video released by Chevrolet takes a look back at the American automaker’s history at the Daytona 500, which dates back to 1936. It showcases several winning Chevy drivers including Junior Johnson and Dale Earnhardt.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS will arrive dealerships later this year equipped with a 6.2-liter, V8 LS3 engine with around 415 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque.
