This week on AutoGuide.com, the most read piece was a comparison between the Ford Mustang Boss, and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.

The Mustang relies on rear-wheel drive and big displacement, while the Mitsubishi uses turbocharging and all-wheel drive. Check out the comparo to see which one was faster around the track.

Next up is the 2014 Mazda6 review. At launch, only a 2.5L gasoline 4-cylinder is available making 184 hp and 185 lb-ft of torque. The V6 option has been foregone in favor of a diesel engine, which will be introduced to the 6 later on this year.

Third on the list is a review of the 2013 Chevy Avalanche. The Avalanche has been discontinued, making 2013 its final year. All Avalanches are powered by a 5.3-liter V8 that delivers 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque.

Fourth is our review of the 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid. The 2013 Ford Fusion is the first sedan to offer gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants of the same car.

Last up is our review of the 2013 Chevy Volt. We took the Volt on a road trip to see how it would perform when used like a regular gasoline-powered car.

So whether you’re shopping for a new car and looking for advice, you want to keep up to date on the auto industry or you’re just looking for a good read, check out the hotlinks to each of the stories below and see more new car reviews here.
