According to the Japanese automaker, the Viziv Concept is a “future-generation crossover concept” and noted that its name is inspired by the phrase “Vision For Innovation”. The concept gives insight to Subaru’s future design direction but the automaker hasn’t hinted as to its powertrain. It may be a preview of the next-gen Tribeca, or perhaps just a general styling piece for the brand’s crossovers.
The Viziv Concept will be joined by the European version of the 2014 Forester along with a new Outback model that will be powered by a 2.0-liter boxer diesel engine mated to a Lineartronic CVT.
Just a few weeks after Geneva, Subaru will reveal its first ever hybrid at the New York Auto Show.
