Toyota released a teaser image today of the new 2014 Toyota Highlander headlight and front fascia, which is set to debut fully next week at the 2013 New York Auto Show.

The new Highlander will undoubtedly get a style update, and is likely to borrow some cues from the new RAV4. From the photos it appears that the front end is gaining a more squared off robust grille, and obviously new longer headlights that stretch out over the front fenders.

Powerplant details are still unknown on the new Highlander, but expect it to keep its V6 option. The three-row crossover may also gain the use of the RAV4’s 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (compared to the current 2.7-liter unit) in an effort to save fuel.
