Porsche to Debut "Exciting" New 911 at Geneva Motor Show

To celebrate 50 years of the world’s most successful sports car Porsche will unveil two new 911s at the Geneva Motor Show next week, including one that’s described as, “very exciting.”

That new 911 will be joined by the latest generation GT3 Cup car (above). Making 460 hp, Porsche expects to sell 2,400 units of the track machine, which is itself the best-selling and most successful sports car in the world.

As for the mystery 911 (which is rumored to be everything from the next generation GT3 to a hybrid model), Porsche says it will deliver, “new engineering highlights, plus a whole lot more.” Whatever the package, it promises to deliver a new level of driving dynamics and excitement.

Porsche will reveal the “exciting” new 911 in Geneva on Tuesday, March 5th.
