Jaguar F-Type Coupe Spied on Nurburgring
The hardtop version of Jaguar’s heavily hyped new F-Type sports car was spied today again on the Nurburgring.
Expected to be available with the same engine options as the convertible, the car will likely come with two V6 powertrains and a V8 option. Jaguar initially showed the concept version as a coupe, and the production version is expected to arrive sometime next year,
More aggressive R and R-S versions of both the coupe and convertible are also likely in the future.
Currently, the base V6 offers 340 hp from its supercharged 3.0-liter V6. The F-Type S also uses a 3.0-liter supercharged six, but output increases to 380 hp. Finally, the range-topping V8 S makes 495 hp, but still sits short of what the brand’s powerplants are capable of.
