A diverse mix of cars made it to the top of AutoGuide’s new cars section this week.

Both the Ford Escape and Fusion were popular search items, as was the Chevrolet Cruze sedan. Chevrolet will offer its popular global compact to North American buyers with a European-derived diesel engine soon, mixing efficiency with torque for powerful acceleration.

Ford wasn’t the only automaker with a crossover with popularity t boast about this week. Mazda’s CX-5 also made the list. The car can come with either a 2.0- or 2.5-liter four cylinder engine and either a manual or automatic transmission. Picking the stick means you’re restricted to the smaller engine.

Finally, Subaru’s new BRZ sports car also remained a popular choice this week. Sibling to the Scion FR-S, Subaru offers its version of the car with more premium interior appointments and a slightly revised exterior.
