BMW 4 Series Convertible Drops Its Top in Spy Photos

The BMW 4 Series convertible is expected to go into production towards the end of this year, and recent spy photos caught it with its top down.

There will be virtually no surprises when the convertible 4 Series launches, maintaining everything that will be seen on the coupe model except, of course, for the roof. Engines and available models are expected to be the same, along with the options.

As a quick refresher, the BMW 4 Series will launch in 428i and 435i form, with the 428i powered by a 2.0-liter, turbo four-cylinder engine with 240 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque while the 435i will pack 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque from its 3.0-liter, turbo inline-six.
