BMW USA Offering Design Consultation for New Buyers

BMW is starting a new program in the US that allows customers to work directly with designers to put together their very own custom cars.

Working with a professional designer from BMW Group DesignworksUSA, customers will get advice on which options to choose when it comes to leather, interior trim and paintwork. BMW will also provide image concepts of the car along with leather and trim samples that customers can actually see and feel.

“Just as people have interior designers for their homes and tailors for their clothes, we are the personal designers for their vehicles. We help clients express their personal identity through their vehicle, “said Sandy McGill, lead color material and finish designer at BMW Group DesignworksUSA.

Customers looking to take full advantage of this service should opt for some version of the 5 Series Sedan, 6 Series, 7 Series or X6, as these are the only vehicles that incorporate the BMW Individual program. That program allows these cars to be built with a-la-carte options, meaning the client can pair any paint with any trim and any leather they wish.
