Next Gen BMW X1 Caught on Trailer in Spy Photos
AutoGuide‘s spy photographers have caught the next-generation BMW X1 sitting on a trailer.
These spy photos were taken while the German automaker was transporting the new X1 between two different testing facilities in Germany. The next-generation X1 will be built on BMW’s new front-wheel drive platform that will also be underpinning the next-generation MINI models.

It is believed that BMW will also use the architecture for the new 1 Series GT. The versatile platform also offers more space in the new X1 in addition to reducing production costs. BMW xDrive All-wheel drive will be available as an option for the next X1 which is expected to debut around 2015.
