The 2014 Rogue, Versa Note and Leaf will be the first vehicles from the Japanese automaker to receive iTunes Radio, where Nissan will enjoy exclusive advertising rights through 2013.

“We see iTunes Radio as an integral part of our new vehicle launches and ‘big moments,’ riding the wave of interest and usage of this exciting new service to maximize exposure of Nissan’s new models,” said Nissan marketing executive Jon Brancheau.

The first-year partnership between Nissan and Apple’s iAd on iTunes Radio will feature advertising across numerous Apple devices including Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Mac. The Japanese automaker will also be creating “newsworthy moments” content to support the roll-out of the new 2014 Nissan Rogue and the ongoing Nissan Heisman House Tour.

“We’re also adding iAd on iTunes Radio as a critical platform in support of ongoing campaigns, such as our college football and Heisman Trophy Tour initiatives. It’s a great way for Nissan to reach the right audiences in the right markets,” he said.

Nissan is currently taking reservations for the new Rogue which will arrive Nissan dealers nationwide this November.

Editor’s note: an earlier version of this story suggested that Nissan would be the only manufacturer with iTunes Radio in its vehicles. Nissan will have exclusive advertising rights, but the technology is not reserved exclusively for Nissan products.
