The 2014 Ford Fiesta equipped with a 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine has been rated at 32 MPG in the city and 45 MPG on the highway.

Though exact specifications on the 1.0-liter engine have yet to be announced, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost Fiesta did get its fuel economy figures posted by the EPA on its website. Compared to other three-cylinder competitors on the market, the Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost is more fuel efficient on the highway, but is bested by the Mitsubishi Mirage (37 MPG city) and the Smart Fortwo (34 MPG city).

2014 Ford Fiesta Review

The 1.0-liter EcoBoost powerplant is offered as an option to Fiesta buyers for $995 and is only available on the SE trim equipped with a manual transmission. The package also comes with 15-inch steel wheels, regenerative brakes and a decklid spoiler for the sedan model.

The 2014 Fiesta equipped with the 1.0-liter EcoBoost starts from $17,240 for the sedan while the hatchback is priced at $17,840. Both prices include a $795 destination fee.
