The Lexus RC coupe will make its North American debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, dressed to impress.

The Japanese automaker also confirmed that the RC coupe will launch in a striking new red paint color that uses a two-color base of both silver and red. According to Lexus, the luminous red paint shade features four base coats of paint that are baked twice. The clear coat is then applied before being covered by a translucent red coat, which is then topped with another clear coat.
