To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, the Volkswagen Touareg will get a special edition X model based off the TDI Clean Diesel Lux trim.

Limited to just 1,000 units, the Touareg X Special Edition will be priced from $56,170 and will feature unique 19-inch “Moab” wheels, Moonlight Blue pearl paint, LED tail lights and Touareg X-specific badging. Inside, the German automaker outfits the special Touareg X with Vienna leather seating surfaces finished in Black Anthracite with a complementing black headliner. Unique Engineered Ebony Wood accents celebrate the 10 years of Touareg production while the center console has been finished in piano black. Lastly, the more upscale look has been finished off with aluminum door sill plates, aluminum-appearance pedal covers and ambient lighting.

The Touareg X is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 TDI with 240 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an eight-speed transmission, the TDI Touareg X gets an EPA-estimated 29 mpg on the highway.
