BMW 4 Series Convertible Spied Winter Testing


While the 2015 BMW M3 and M4 made their North America debut at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, the 4 Series convertible is still left out in the cold.
We’ve seen the BMW 4 Series convertible in spy photos before wearing even less camouflage but that was before the snowy winter arrived. Now the German automaker is putting its convertible variant through its paces in cold-weather testing.

There’s very little secrets to the 4 Series convertible now that the production coupe is available at dealerships. It will sport a hard top rather than a soft cloth top and will carry the same powertrain lineup as its coupe counterpart, meaning that 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque will be available from a turbocharged inline six cylinder.
